Marsmolys is a hard psychedelic quartet based in Yogyakarta, they infused aggressive hard rock, energetic Garage Rock, drifting Psychedelic Rock, and heavy riffs à la Stoner Rock. Marsmolys brings aggressive and complex guitar riffs sheathed in colossal fuzz, to sweet yet sedating echoey solo waves. Followed by dynamic and organic, yet raw basslines, they then wrapped it up with sharp and fiery drum beats–which could unexpectedly turn into groovy and elegant beats. Marsmolys are Antino Restu Aji (Vocal/Guitar), Yoga Bhakti (Backing Vocal/Guitar/Synthesizer), Ferdy Listant (Bass), and Fahrenno (Drum). In 2018, after independently releasing debut single “Cosmic Still”, Marsmolys also released a split mini album “Splitual” alongside rock band Kavaleri with 3 tracks from each band. Marsmolys then released a full-length album “Verticalysm” in 2023. Marsmolys released 2 new singles in 2024 entitled “Aksa” and “Kala” which is a collaboration with Yokohama (Japan)-based artist Atasiaishii 石井羽民 through a Yogyakarta-based independent label Boneless Records.
